The Thorncroft Mainstreamers

The Thorncroft Mainstreamers are an equestrian drill team consisting of riders with and without disabilities. They work and ride together, encouraging proficient performances and mutual understanding. As the skill of each rider improves, their lives are also enriched by the experience.

Founded in 1986, our Mainstreamers have performed in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware, sharing with their audiences an extraordinary ability which goes beyond their riding skills. The team is an example of growing and sharing lives together, of accomplishing major goals others thought impossible.

They are a unique team of riders with wonderful talents. They have given demonstrations of their precision drills at the Devon Horse Show, Dressage at Devon, the Belmont Horse Fair, the A-rated horse show at the Sussex County Fair, the Penn State University Agricultural “Ag” Days, the Lancaster County Fair, Ludwigs Corner Horse Show, The Radnor Hunt Concours d’Elegance and the NARHA/DELTA National Convention held in Gladstone NJ.

The Mainstreamers hold annual tryouts for team positions. Please check our social media pages and website for more information or contact Kersten Hoerner, Lead Instructor and Mainstreamers Coach, at 610-644-1963.
